How
to get to Casa Combe
Ø On arrival
at Ibiza Airport you need to find the taxi rank. This
is located just outside the departures exit.
Ø You need
to ask the taxi driver to take you to the port for
Formentera. The phrase in Spanish is “El Puerto
Para Formentera” but you will find that most
taxi drivers in Ibiza speak good English, as Ibiza
is quite hot spot for British tourist. Formentera
isn’t!
Ø The cost
of the Taxi is approximately €15 to €25
Ø Once you
arrive at Ibiza Port the ticket office is in the nearest
building to the drop off point for taxis. You will
find several ticket counters, as there are three different
ferry companies that go to Formentera. There are two
types of boats; the fast ferry “Rapido”
that takes 25 to 35 minutes or the Cargo Ferry that
takes 60 minutes.
Ø The Cost
for the fast ferry “Rapido” is approximately
€14 (Child €7) and for the Cargo Ferry under
€10. (prices might of changed from season to season)
Ø Welcome to
Formentera! Now you have two choices, either you hire
a car or you get a taxi to Casa Combe.
· Hiring a Car: Look on map enclosed to find
the Car Hire shops, we recommend “Avis”
but you can shop around for the best deal! If you
want to organise the Vehicle before arriving in Formentera
then contact Avis at www.avis.co.uk
· Taxi to Casa Combe: The taxi rank is in front
of the ticket office. Tell your taxi driver “Casa
Combe, Sa Roqueta”. To say this phonetically
“ Kasa Kombay, Sa-Raketta"
